Yes. We mean exactly that. Walk-in fingerprinting is available Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. No appointment is necessary during these hours. Simply bring your valid government-issued photo ID and any fingerprint cards or instructions provided by the requesting agency.
Appointments are completely optional. During our designated walk-in hours, no appointment is required.
Bring a valid government-issued photo ID along with any fingerprint cards, forms, or instructions provided by the requesting agency, employer, or licensing board. Having all required documents helps ensure your appointment is completed without complications.
The FD-258 is the FBI's standard fingerprint card used for employment, professional licensing, immigration, background investigations, and numerous federal and state application processes. We provide FD-258 cards during your appointment.
Live Scan fingerprinting captures fingerprints electronically and submits them digitally to participating agencies. Ink fingerprinting uses traditional FD-258 fingerprint cards that are submitted according to the requesting agency's instructions. The requesting agency determines which fingerprinting method is required.
Absolutely. If the requesting agency provided fingerprint cards with your application, simply bring them with you. If no fingerprint cards were provided, we supply standard FD-258 fingerprint cards.
Yes. Fingerprinting services are available for children when required for adoption, immigration, travel, licensing, or other authorized purposes. A parent or legal guardian should accompany minors during the appointment.
A current government-issued photo ID, such as a driver's license, state-issued identification card, passport, or military identification, is typically required. If your requesting agency specifies additional identification requirements, be sure to follow those instructions.
Your application instructions typically specify whether you need Live Scan fingerprinting or FD-258 fingerprint cards. If you're unsure, contact the requesting agency before your appointment or give us a call—we're happy to help you understand your fingerprinting requirements.
Most fingerprinting appointments are completed in approximately 10 to 20 minutes, depending on the type of fingerprinting required and whether additional paperwork must be completed.
Yes. Fingerprints can be rejected due to print quality or agency-specific documentation standards. However with our recommended two card standard and attention to detail, Fastest Prints has a 100 % acceptance rate. In the event that a rejection does occur, we honor a reprint at no cost or a full refund at the customer's discretion.
Generally, no. Most employers, licensing boards, and government agencies require fingerprints to be collected specifically for their own application or background investigation and do not accept fingerprints previously submitted for another purpose.
